Las Vegas Give Kids a   Smile event will maintain universal infection control practices at all times. All clinical individuals   involved in patient treatment must carry the appropriate malpractice insurance coverage, and ensure     that the coverage allows you to participate in a volunteer treatment event.

Closed toes shoes are required.   Please bring your loupes and light if you require them during treatment.  Gloves and lab coats will be provided and must be worn in the clinic.  Dental supplies and instruments will be provided.  If you have a favorite tool feel free to bring it.

Registration and Continuing Education
Every volunteer and sponsor needs to check in at Building A (indicated with RED ARROW above) to sign in.  Tracking all of our volunteer efforts and the services we provide is an important way to document our service to the community in addition to granting continuing education. You will be given an identification lanyard that shows your clinic assignment.  This must be worn at all times during the event. If you speak Spanish, you will be given an orange ribbon to wear and asked to assist with translating efforts.

Breakfast and Lunch
WestPac Wealth will provide continental breakfast in the morning and Absolute Dental will provide lunch.  Please be sure to stay in order to celebrate our efforts and network.

Checkout and Continuing Education
Once you are done volunteering please return to the Volunteer check out table to return your name tag lanyard, pick up your CE certificate and volunteer gift.

If I can’t volunteer at the event, is there another way I can help?

Absolutely! A project of this magnitude requires tax-deductible donations and in-kind contributions to cover expenses for supplies, food costs and other items required to help this event run smoothly and efficiently. You can generously support us by making a donation to the NDA Foundation for Oral Health. In the memo please include: SNDS GKAS Mail: Southern Nevada Dental Society, 8863 W. Flamingo Rd. Ste. 101, Las Vegas, NV 89147.

Thank you for all your help– it’s going to be another great year celebrating and supporting Give Kids A Smile in our community!
